The liberal Christian left clergy in the United States were ecstatic with the news of the guilty verdict of the Republican Party Presidential front runner Trump hush money case in the Stormy Daniels one night stand 18 years ago. It was claimed by the Christian Left that it was like justice flowing down river. The reality was that

1. it was justice as the Republican party, the party of the anti-gay Christian right, is now found to be salaciously engaged in prostitution with their top person having their one night stand fully described in court in all the sexual details in prime team TV. But none of the mega churches in the US is questioning why Trump was habitually engaging with female Prostitutes 18 years ago, when they have been so virulently anti gay.
2. Trump was the scapegoat of all the hate, indignation of the Christian Left, even though he actually did very little harm. There was relatively peace and economic stability in his presidency, enforced border controls, no major wars being supported. But they really hated him, because it was a spiritual hate by the Christian left, because Trump exalted Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel.
3. They needed to fully destroy Trump even to the extreme extent of using the courts, because the incumbent President Biden, though a very useful puppet for the causes of the Christian Left, is failing in the debt, economy and homeland security. The borders in the USA as porous, the debt is reaching a dangerous level, high interest rates is the norm, and the inflation out of control. But the Christian Lefts cared not even an inch of grave future sufferings, because it is all about the immediate, trying to stay in power. The end justifies the means.

With the Trump conviction, a nuclear option has been declared by the liberals, and I believe the US is going down a dangerous path of division. What goes out will come back eventually.
