One of the greatest falsehood in many of our GLBT churches is to proclaim that it is love really, that the story of God is about love rather than the love of God through Jesus Christ. Our own love becomes the evidence of association with God, but it is His love really not our love. Our role is to accept Jesus, the personification of God’s love.

When it is about our love for others, it becomes self centered on us, and often repeatedly falling. When gay churches promote love and loving God whole heartedly, it will come from the strength of our flesh which is rather weak instead of the love of God in our hearts being the motivating factor. Hence gay churches can be the most unloving places because it is all self centered inward looking.

1 John 4 is often quoted as about love, but surely we are not to believe in every spirit that talks about that fuzzy man centered love. For 1 John 4.1 reminds us to test the spirit, and the test is not how much we love God whole heartedly. The test in 1 John 4.2 reads

1 John 4.2 by this you know the spirit of God: evey spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God

1 John 5:12-13 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; so that you may know that you have eternal life.

One of the most depressive places are gay churches when we are full of condemnation from the mainstream churches yet unable to release that condemnation because of our theology which binds us. Droves of people are leaving liberal churches who blames bible interpretation as being literal and absolute as the cause rather than a lack of hope. There is no hope, when there is no Cross of Calvary, when it is our love for God and our love for others, because we can never negate the judgement of God for our sins. Continue reading →

One of the most awful places to have a church service is where there is lots of death and cruel death. Satan chose whom he wishes to devour, usually the weakest group such as gays and he puts the church in a position to be blamed for the tens of thousands of lives lost. It was no coincidence that Hitler having the spirit of the anti-Christ targeted gays and Jews, so are many nations of faith. When blood is shed, there is a voice that speaks of vengeance. Zec 12.3 on  that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, i will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to remove it will injure themselves.

The mainline churches have won the cultural war in the US. As they and the European churches now lead in hindering the full return and control of Israel over Jerusalem and Judah, Israel will not be moved because the days of the Gentiles over Jerusalem are over. John 8.18,19 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sents Me bears witness of Me. Then they said to Him “where is Your Father?” Jesus answered, “You know neither Me nor My Father. If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also”.

In religion, often God the Father is distant and a mystery. The Jews stayed far away from the mountain of God. It the the righteousness of God that separates God from an unholy mankind. Fear comes because of judgement for our sins. We are under a curse for the penalty of our sin is death.

Our love really doesn’t really get us back to God for sin taints the best of us. We view God as a caring mother, as love, etc but we can’t whitewash judgement nor the bible because our conscience condemns us. Continue reading →

Eph 6.14 stand therefore having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness.

The great attack by satan, rulers of darkness of this age, is often not through physical attacks but spiritual, through half truths and deception. The attack on the GLBT community has been on going for the last 50 years through ex-gay groups and on the gay churches itself.

Satan wants to destroy the weak, the Gay community even using the condemnation of the church whilst feeding half truths to gay churches that you only need love but need not accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Therefore, in Australia, after 50 years, the exgay ministries are gone, so are the liberal gay churches which are left with only a signboard and a building whilst declaring that we cannot believe the bible literally. It is almost the end of the liberal mainline movement that sprung up in Europe, and England in the late 19th century , then strongly influencing the US theological colleges with its hordes of Higher Criticism theologians for the next 100 years. By the 1950’s they rule Christendom with their ecumenical movements in the World Council of Churches which limited the post colonial evangelism to one of activism and doing social good and equality.

The claims by the Episcopal church Rachel Evans and the Metropolitan Community Church that just about every denomination in America including evangelicals is seeing decline in numbers is misleading at best. But it is good for them to believe in a lie because they can’t stop their own steep decline with an inclusive and social gospel negating much of biblical christianity and faith in the finished works of the Cross.

The recent disinvestment of Israel by the mainline United Churches of Christ shows an increasing move now to the left until it is hardly recognizable as a biblical Christian Church. “Only believe” is the motto rather than “believe in Jesus” as Lord and Savior. Once, you take away Jesus and exalt a Creator God in some mysterious creative works (as they don’t believe in literal creation), the church becomes a metaphorical imagination. Continue reading →
