True Love is Jesus not the law

As the “Love Singapore” and “True Love Is” groups pushed their anti-gay agenda even more aggressively now targeting gay youths, the irony is that gay youths are the most free from the closets of religion that binds many to religious laws. The Christian Right is scared because their hypocrisy and fake religiosity could be seen easily and the world has become a much smaller place where young people could connect and are not easily fooled knowing that they are not alone.

Gays are not coming out as they used to because there is no need to come out just as straight people don’t come out to realise that they are straight. Once the battle is lost, the counter argument is also true, the anti-gay aggenda of the church is immoral, and has caused the lost of many lives.

What is an abomination? The Christian Right would point to Lev 18:22 that one must not lie with a man as with a woman as an abomination, but the religious landscape and motivation were because the people were having sex orgies with the temple priests to join themselves to Satan in Baal worship where only men participated in the religious life. They were not gays. Neither were gays the modern day abomination whom the church is trying to blame, but the church herself where Babylon, the great harlot is in Rome, and the abomination of the church joining with the power of this world is happening daily.

Let those of the Spirit of God understand and see the truth. This is the abomination of the abomination, not gay sex due to same sex orientation but unnatural sex of joining oneself to demonic powers. Gays are scapegoat to be blamed for the real abomination. The universal church in Rome never stopped worshipping the mother pagan goddess of ancient Rome, just that you don’t see it even though all the “scared” symbols are obvious. They are masked by a form of religion. They have power but not from the God of Israel but the morning star. Continue reading

A better Spirit

Luke 9:51 Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem, 52 and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him. 53 But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. 54 And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” 55 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. 56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.

Mark 6:11 And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

The 377a debate is coming back to Singapore after the Indian Supreme Court effectively scraped it and called it totally unjustified and against basic human rights. The just doesn’t operate based on majority opinion. If so, countries which have few evangelical christians may called upon the banning of evangelism due to strongly felt views contrary to basic religious freedoms.

I am reminded in the bible that the disciples really despised the Samaritans and Jesus bought us an example of James and John wanted to call down fire from heaven to destroy the Samaritan village. Why the incredible angst? because the Samaritans also worshiped the God of Israel albeit on a different mountain. Why Jesus showed us the example rather than say a pagan village worshiping pagan gods? for Jesus himself called the Canaanite woman, a temple dog!

Church struggles to keep gays in the closet

Amos 5:23 Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 But let justice roll on like a river,
    righteousness like a never-failing stream!

25 “Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings
forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel?
26 You have lifted up the shrine of your king,
the pedestal of your idols,
the star of your god[b]
which you made for yourselves.

One of the favorite verses of my liberal friends is Amos 5:24. However, the opposite of justice is not injustice, it is not satisfied by appearances of religion with all its sounds and cymbals worshipping God.  Because God sees our heart. When the formal restraints are not there like the children of Israel, we will worship idols if we are not sanctified with Christ. And these idols are powerful spiritual deities represented ultimately by the fallen star. And as one worship Molech and Baal, whom the Jews worshipped in the desert, there was great evil  – the sacrifice of babies. The men even joined themselves to the priest in anal sex.  So sex is related to harvest and blood sacrifices, and now 3,000 years later, there is injustice towards gays because the straight community is hiding the sins of their heart. The church says that gays are struggling from same-sex attraction but isn’t the reality a struggle for opposite sex attraction with widespread adultery and more than 10,000 abortions every year.

Justice will not flow down until we examine of hearts. For outwardly we may worship God but inwardly is our heart and conscience clear towards Jesus or are gays just the scapegoat to cleanse the straight community. Justice will ultimately flows down from the mountain top, and when it reaches down, it will reveal our hearts. For the treatment of the weak is a reflection in our hearts.
