Rom 10.15…. how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things.

Rom 10.17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Where do you go when you are weak and hammered down by the circumstances of life. One would go to churches that preach the Word of God, the Gospel of God’s grace and mercy apart from the law. Because faith in your spirit comes by hearing the Word of God.

In many Gay churches, the attendance is struggling even being the only church in the entire nation of millions because the Word of God is not preached but the word of man. Jesus Christ is bypassed, as God and Saviour. As a result, faith is not built up. Gay people are hungry for faith that sustains them and connects them with Yahweh, the God of Israel. Ps 34,7 the angel of the Lord encamps around them that fear Him, and delivers them.

2 Tim 3.1 to 5 … in the last days…for men shall be lovers of their own self…. blasphemous…having a form of godliness but denying its power, from such turn away.

2 Tim 3.7 ever learning, never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The blog entry “Kong Hee from Lawlessness to Grace” was made popular by a few clergy of the liberation movement of the 60s to 80s who wanted to criticise the charismatic movement in Singapore and the key movers such as the Anglican Canon James Wong whom Kong was associated with.

I wrote by what i believed the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and not because I was mourning over the harm caused by the trial to the churches’ reputation, nor because I had given to CHC. I attended some churches with doubtful reputations. Yet who am i to judge.

Even the honorable gate keepers in Singapore didn’t enter the fray. I am no gate keeper guarding the city but only a gentle lamb gazing in the open fields. Continue reading →
