Rom 10.15…. how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things.

Rom 10.17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Where do you go when you are weak and hammered down by the circumstances of life. One would go to churches that preach the Word of God, the Gospel of God’s grace and mercy apart from the law. Because faith in your spirit comes by hearing the Word of God.

In many Gay churches, the attendance is struggling even being the only church in the entire nation of millions because the Word of God is not preached but the word of man. Jesus Christ is bypassed, as God and Saviour. As a result, faith is not built up. Gay people are hungry for faith that sustains them and connects them with Yahweh, the God of Israel.

 

In some churches, bad theology prevails where there is a form of religion where self is put in the center rather than Jesus. There is no forgiveness of sin, but a sin consciousness and performance by the law even to do love.

In the religion of man, God is portrayed as a distant creator God. But people are looking for relationship not religion nor spirituality, God who saw the pain of the Samaritan woman at the well, a God who came down to where we are. In the US mainline, there is often a form of religion but no substance of faith.

In the OT, they may have sinned against all the commandments but the modern day Christians fail in the greatest by worshiping other gods making Jesus as one with Beelzebub, making the Cross of no effect. They have denied the saving power of the blood of the lamb.

Mat 25.30 …. and cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gashing of teeth.

Only when Israel start prostituting with Molech and Ashtoreth, the presence of God was taken away and God sent the destroyer, Nebuchadnezzar. In the last days, the hand of God is lifted up in many churches, and comes in the thieve who steals and destroys.

This is happening in the US mainline churches eg in the United church of Christ where they are being broken apart with the attendance dropping. When they put Jesus on par with pagan gods and deny the blood of the lamb, their attendance fell to 370k (5000 churches, 74 average) from being a 2.1 million membership church in 1955.

Rom 10.18 but i say, have they not heard? Yes, indeed “Their sound has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world”

The Lord is calling for those who has a heart for Him, for the Gospel of the good news. The trumpet sound of the shofar of the lamb that was slained has been blown daily from Calvary.

We are to preach the Word of God revealing Christ, the mystery of the ages. It is the sound of the Word of God, and as it goes forth, it will produce faith when it is taken into our hearts.

Jesus Christ is coming back. The Harvest Field is plenty and we have big people groups that are unreached including gay communities. Gay churches will not grow much if the purpose is to build our own safe commune, a little heaven on earth. Instead, God is looking for many John the Baptist who will proclaim Jesus the Messiah rather than himself.

God is not looking at our skills, intelligence, wealth but whether we will preach the Word of Faith concerning His Son Jesus. God will do the rest because there is power in the Word to build faith and hope and God will honour and bear witness to the truth concerning His Son.
