John 2:2 Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. 3 And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” 4 Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

John 19: 25 Near the cross of Jesus stood his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. 26 When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, “Woman, here is your son,” 27 and to the disciple, “Here is your mother.” From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.

The stance against gays at the Vatican was confirmed when Monsignor Krzysztof Charamsa was sacked at the Vatican when he outed himself. He claimed that a large number of priests at the vatican are gays and they make good hard working priests. So much for the praises of the Liberal Pope at Huffington Post and Patheos and every excuse given by them for the meeting with Kim Davis, the multiple adulterer. This is not christianity but a religious ideology where we go to God through the Holy Father and not to Jesus. If the the Holy Fathers are gay? Then is God gay?

Jesus must have seen 2,000 years down time when the church who is called by Jesus name, worships Mary, adores themselves with rosaries and pray to Mary as an intermediary to Jesus. The centrality of Christ is taken away yet few bothers including those at Love Singapore who sees gays as the greatest sin. The greatest sin is pertaining to who we worship? When we put the Saints, the Holy Fathers before Jesus, we are like the Jews of old who had succumbed to Pagan worship. Yet, the church says that gays are the greatest sin.

In the wedding at Cana, Jesus deliberately called Mary “Woman”, when she instructed Him to make Wine for Jesus doesn’t take orders from a mere mortal despite our elevation of Mary. Jesus only took instruction from Father God in heaven. Yet when Pope Francis became Pope, the first thing he did was to pray at Mary’s altar. It was not that Jesus was unkind to Mary. He did the same at the Cross of Calvary saying “Woman ….”, but then to John, asking him to take Mary as his mother. The interchange between woman and mother shows that Jesus wanted us to consider Mary as a mortal woman and we are to go directly to God and not via Mary or the Pope.

We have the greatest of hypocrisy within the church until it does not resemble anything biblical from the 4th century onwards after Rome took over the church. Images of the crusades of the middle ages put up by some Christians showing how cruel the church can be just like the radicalized religious activist in the middle east of the 11th century is not in context. They couldn’t even find a 21st century equivalent. Futhermore, this is not christianity but the church hierachal.

The crusades was not done in the name of Christ but in the name of a religion and the Jesuits. One may kill praising the name of a god, but when we declare Jesus is God, it is one of humble humility. Instead of raising the sword, the name of Jesus reminds us of dying for others and being killed that others may have life. It is the Amazing Grace of Protestant reformation that brought blibical christianity back.

Comparing a religious crusading wars 1000 years ago with the evil of the Isis is intellectual dishonesty. Yes, the crusades by the catholics was an over reaction to the invasion of religious armies against the churches in then middle east only leaving a remnant of the original churches. No one talks of the mass murders and killing of christians 1000 years ago by the religious armies whom the knights of the templar came to protect as part of the catholic crusades.

What is happening in the middle east is as a result of religion, the effort to gain righteousness by religious law. Therefore, when a religious text was desecrated in a refugee camp in Europe, there was a riot. It was not one bad sheep in the camp, but religion was in their hearts. Riots are now happening in Europe when waves of migrants came in. It was the same religious spirit that threw gays from the high roof tops on buildings in the Middle East as part of a mass execution cheered by the religious masses below.  Yet, few liberal friends came against this religious extremism made common and pervasive. There was little voice against Iran for the mass hangings of gays when there was so much praises in the liberal camp for the nuclear disarmament effort.

No one questions the fact that in many neighbouring countries and in the middle east, when one converts to Christianity, the person might be stone to death and the whole village rejoice. They see it as doing God a favor, and yet some Christian friends say we have the same God denying Jesus work at the Cross of Calvary and equating religious deities with the God of Israel. When we call what is Holy unholy and what is unholy, Holy, the presence of God leaves us. It is no wonder that the presence of God, and the Word of God has been taken from the Episcopal Church.

When there is no revelation from God, the church begins to die unless it is replaced by a strong religious structure and tradition. The Episcopal church has been in demise for over 50 years yet they now only grudgingly acknowledging it in a rather condescending manner claiming that all other Christian denominations are falling as well. When we deny Jesus in the Holy of Holies, there will be no lightning strike from heaven, but Jesus will leave us alone to play religion.

Yes, Jesus became not the answer but the question to those whose hearts are hardened by unbelief. We have the Lesbian Lutheran Bishop in Norway taking away the Cross, and creating prayer rooms for other faiths. God remains a loving God, and will not punish us but neither will the Holy Spirit tarry with the religion of men covered in the veil of mainline Christianity.  It was never about gay marriage, but our own self centered religion and her laws taking over. Jesus never replaced the laws, for He came to fulfil the laws which we could never fulfill ourselves. When we try to be god, we end up in the two opposite extremes, to the extreme left or right. Only at the Cross is there balance, of the righteousness of God being satisfied.

We often criticised what is already in us, what we perceived as a sin in us. Therefore, there are many in Christian organization who vehemently criticise gays and gay marriage only to be found out to be gay themselves. They are living a lie, and this altar is maintained and coming in a crusade against gays. It has nothing to do with family or loving a nation.

The Church called Mary, the Mother of God and worships her. There is no protest or wear white at Love Singapore against this because this is the biggest mega church in the whole world. When will we call Mary, a woman? when will we call the reverends, mortal sinners? When do we call the madness of Christian religious self righteousness against the weakess in society who cant defend themselves.
