Ps 85: 6,7 Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, And grant us Your salvation.

Ps 85: 9, 10 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him,
That glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth have met together;
Righteousness and peace have kissed.

One of the foundation for the fear of God is that we will not undermine His message nor His Word but instead give glory, honor and praise to Jesus Christ. We may be like Judas, cheating on God here and there, but grace was there and Jesus did not utter even a word of rebuke but at the end Judas faced a decision whether to betray Jesus or not. We leave Jesus when we no longer believe that He is God and Savior. Perhaps Judas never really had believed as is many in the church even ordained clergy.

I see many Gay friends who had been fervent Christians, but when they came out as a Gay person, they changed because the inner conflicts of their sexual orientation came like a hurricane to push them off the rock of Jesus Christ. It is like a good seed planted on good soil but without the deep roots of faith that is anchored on Jesus. Instead, they became great antagonists of  bible believing and spirit filled Christianity because of the hurt and condemnation they had experienced from the zealous pharisees in the churches.

Is the world moral and family orientated? of course not.  Love Singapore doesn’t mention that 10,000 babies are aborted each year by straight couples in Singapore. For some, it is a “health choice”. They are worshiping Moloch of old, by sacrificing babies so that the harvest can come. Why are they so afraid of Pink Dot that even the Freedom to Love posters at Cathay is deemed not family friendly? Because Love Singapore have put their own sins on Gays. It reminds them of their own hidden sins and the sins of Singapore which they have failed to be salt and light.

The world and the wear white group judged us on our morality. Gays are condemned corporately. But God sees us individually whether we belong to Him, or belong to the demonic deities of the realm. When we put on Jesus, by submitting that His death and resurrection covers us as well, we too have died and resurrected and God sees us in Christ. For some who called themselves Christians but sees Jesus and His claim to deity as metaphorical, so too is their faith. Wear pink or wear white alone doesn’t save us because it is on the outside. God sees the inside, whose we belong to.

For love and good works by itself can never bring us closer to God, why? because we are still in the camp of the forces of darkness, even though the world may call us as Bishops, Pastors, or have intellectual respectability because we are bible college graduates. A mainline church in US now claims to be Jesus people (to stop their desperate decline), but their claim is always doing, doing good works of love. But before one can do the works, we need to be baptized into the Holy Spirit, and be born again by the cleansing water and blood of Jesus Christ.

Otherwise we still live in sin and without the fear of God. Outwardly we may be a do-gooder. God is not interested of what we metaphorically believed in our minds, but whether our hearts and allegiances have changed and turned to Him. Do we fear God, honor Jesus Christ His Son as God and Savior? Do we move out of the Kingdom of darkness, denounce our allegiance to the spiritual deities of this world and pledge allegiance to Jesus, Our God and Savior. Otherwise all of our works, helping local gay churches, and travelling all over the world is truly in vain.

We need a Holy Spirit revival when local gay churches can’t stop talking only about good works of love framed as a corporate salvation with heaven on earth, social justice , feminist movements, abortion rights, ecumenical acts and left wing activism . It is a re-branding of the liberation theology of the Russian infiltrated World Council of Churches whose aim is by-passing Jesus as the “I AM” at worst, and making Him only a good radical like them at best. With the liberal christian era in decline for the last 50 years, gay churches in the states are hard to sustain nor grow. In the next 25 years, they are no more, so are most gay churches and ministries.

We cannot revive others and build churches if we cannot revive ourselves again. Revival starts when we praise God and acknowledge His love by dying for us at the Cross of Calvary, bearing all our sins, once and forever cleansing us from our condemnation, and brought us through our struggles and valley of the shadow of death by His Grace. We need to abide in the upper room, to experience the supernatural Fire of the Holy Spirit from above, and wait for the Lord in Prayer.

Ultimately, God is calling us to revive ourselves and not to condemn nor criticise others. It starts with fire from above, fire to come to the most despised people group in Singapore. It is sown in fervent prayer of a righteous man. Eph 6.18.
