Some Christians insist that no church has a monopoly on truth but then goes on to dish blibical christianity with higher critical methods and create their own theological construction of salvation on earth and not in heaven based on their own carnal image and put on the Christian label on it.

They subconsciously want to create their own truths and become god whilst insisting that no one has a monopoly on truth because of their alternate political and activist aggenda. Essentially truth is corrupted and sanctified by their school of religion/theology because they want to deny the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ to another gospel.

The alternate truth presented that we can save ourselves and create a new heaven on earth through love, and our human spirituality apart from Jesus Christ is a lie of the devil and New Age christians who will find themselves outside the kingdom with gnashing of teeth when the lord of the harvest returns. This alternate truth will not set us free but will put us in deep bondage into the spirit of the anti christ.

It is not right to say that no church has monopoly on truths but that no one has a monopoly on all truths because that would make us God. There are certain truths that God has revealed from the beginning of time in the blibical narrative of creation, fall, flood, the law at Mt Sinai, Calvary, the return.

There are two major points truths that the devil is trying to corrupt.

1. Truth in being free through the Son

John 8.31 then Jesus said to the Jews who believed Him, if you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed. 32 and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

Do we have the truth? Not by attending school of religion or school of theology or even being descended from Abraham, but by acceptance that truth is first reliasing that the Son has set us free. We are not free under the law or under love, nor equality gives us freedom when we are all equally condemned.

Therefore, when we first reliased that truth and freedom is bound in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour (not even Abraham, Pope, Mary nor any other gods), we will not go into error and falsehood. We must first believed in Jesus.

2. Grace and truth is with Jesus Christ

John 1.14 to 1.17 and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten son of God, full of grace and truth .. 16 and of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 for the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Truth is being paired with grace. Therefore, when we insist on the love commandments under the law as truth, we received no revelation of truths but only condemnation. We are regressive when we go back to the law under Moses. For the new wine of revelation of God’s grace and eternal truth come through Jesus Christ.

If we desire truth, it comes by seeing God’s grace in Jesus Christ. The world is not anti God, but anti Christ even many so called Christians who stand against the grace and truth in Jesus Christ and insist we stand only on love.

The problem with the Church in Singapore is that it is too fearful that the liberal era of the 50s and 60s will return thus having a last stand on the gay issue. They forgotten that to the least Jesus only condemned them of one sin, not unbelief in creator God per say, but not accepting that He came from God and that He is the Son of God, the Messiah. All things fade into comparison of the Cross of Calvary and the return.
