A Christian missionary John Allen Chau was killed in the remote Indian Islands by a native tribe that hitherto has been hostile to the outside world. His family and the Christian missionary groups that he have been associated with have affirmed that they held no animosity and have fully forgiven the tribe. This act of love so angst the Christian left that they had to dig up fringe Christian groups calling for justice and even clergy spinning this to say that this is how genocide starts, They tried to cynically spin the narrative because they wanted to detract the focus from Chau who was so loving and forgiving with the message that Jesus loves the tribe and he wanted to break what he said as “Satan’s last strong hold”.
The left wanted to spin the narrative to be about the tribe, when it is all about John Allen Chau, his love for God and His love for the Great Commission to the Lost, for Jesus loves me this I know. It was a foolish and illegal endeavour, but I believe God looks into his heart and His love for the saving Gospel of God’s grace through Jesus Christ so thoroughly rejected by the Christian Left. This is what faith is about, stepping out, driven by his love for God.
Chau was just a 26 year old kid, recently graduated from Oral Roberts University, and from Vancouver, Washington. The world and the Christian left have vilified him and spin all sorts of fake news about the call for justice but i believe that there is something in faith that God honors him. The Christian Left has called Chau the villain instead of the tribe who had killed him. This is sad and shows who are the sheep and goats in the last days. The left is like those who rejoiced when the killed Jesus. Surely Jesus was a “foreigner” from another land coming to a lost tribe. And we are the Lost.
The size of the tribe or their language is not known. From a far, others only counted a few dozen at most. But God has put a burden in Chau’s heart, and because of this heavy burden for such a small group of people, he now lays buried in the sand in the island. But his blood cries out to God, not of vengeance but of grace. Ultimately, God sees people individualy and all are precious in God’s sight.
I used to attend a Christian Youth Group called Agape or God’s Unconditional love, which is the God kind of love that Jesus had for all mankind. But there is a much deeper love, and when Jesus asked Peter, do you love me with the Agape kind of love, Peter replied he loved Jesus with the brotherly relationship kind of love. At the last time Jesus repeat the question, Jesus changed the question to whether Peter loved Jesus, the Phileo kind of love. And then asked Peter to feed my sheep. Feeding the sheep starts with a close relationship with Jesus., where Jesus feeds us. Then we can feed the sheep.
Feeding the sheep, speaks of being in a church and in a community, building the church. It first starts with the clergy having that passionate love relationship not with the works of Jesus but His person. We are not Jesus people following Jesus, but we are people whom Jesus has invited into His abode, His family and now we love Jesus Christ as a friend, as Lord and Saviour.
The love for Jesus Christ means, we love the Great commission, and love to continue His ministry of the Good News, not that people can save themselves by the works of the Law, nor the love commandments, but that Jesus loves them, and this love is manifested at the Cross, where He died for them, We just need to accept His grace and His love, His salvation so preciously bought for us at the Cross of Calvary. For many people of faith, this mere acceptance for the finished work and person of Christ as the author and the finisher of their faith is difficult, for their faith is centered around the faith in their own good works. God is love they proclaim and worship love rather than the person Jesus Christ who is God and who personifies love.
John Chau thought that Satan’s last stronghold was in the last tribe on the earth, but the last stronghold is Washington, London, and Rome where the Obelisk of Baal joins the centre of political, religious, and commercial power with spiritual powers of this world. In each of these cities, there is a very big Egyptian obelisk right in the centre of power. They had gained and perpetuate power from the dark angels. George Washington was the worshipper of deep demonic powers to bring New Age religions of Europe into the New World. The various religious entities, each worshipping powerful demonic entities, were themselves warring in Europe for power and control. The likes of Benjamin Franklin, an occultist had to escape to America. They had worshipped the “All Seeing eye”. And the power of this deities, is financial power, the dollar.
In times of deep darkness, God raises the light, a mighty move of the Holy Spirit, to reflect His Word and Power that overcomes darkness. We are more than 114 years from the Azusa Street revival in 1904 which happened not more than 7 years from the First Zionist Congress in 1897. The Congress started the countdown to the return of Jesus, and before His return, we are seeing the mighty move of the Holy Spirit, coming in waves after waves of grace each bigger than before. The latest wave of God’s grace will hit the gay tribe.
God is calling the church to breakout of the World Order, for Christians to return to their first love, and not the worship the powers and spiritual deities of this world, for Jesus Christ is coming back. Faith entities such as the World Council of Churches, and the Christian Conference of Asia were created to limit the Great Commission to the lost by redefining the “Lost” as being marginalised and suffering from lack. It is no longer a spiritual separation from the God of Israel because of sin. Salvation becomes liberating people from poverty instead of reconciliation with God through the blood of Jesus Christ.
The last tribe is not some very small forsaken Island in the Indian Ocean full of hostile natives, but the Gay community right in the centre of every city. GLBT places are often right in the centre of the main cities. They are not out in the desert. They are furthest away for the distance is not geographical but theological. Is the Gospel inclusive of all! including every tribe and people group.
As I was reflecting on the valiant love act of John Allen Chau, I am reminded of the Christian song,
Just let me say how much I love You
Let me speak of Your mercy and grace
Just let me live in a shadow of Your beauty
Let me see You face to face
And the earth will shake as Your Word goes forth
And the heavens will tremble and fall
But let me say how much I love You
Oh my Savior, my Lord and Friend
Just let me hear Your finest whispers
As You gently call my name
And let me see Your power and Your glory
Let me feel Your spirit’s flame
Let me find You in the desert
Till this sand is holy ground
And I am found completely surrendered
To You my Lord and Friend
So let me say how much I love You
With all my heart I long for You
For I am caught in this passion of knowing
This endless love I’ve found in You
And the depth of grace, the forgiveness found
To be called a child of God
Just makes me say how much I love You
Oh my Savior, my Lord and Friend (x2)
Just makes me say how much I love You
Oh my Savior, my Lord and Friend
