Luke 13:22 Then Jesus went through the towns and villages, teaching as he made his way to Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, 24 “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, ‘Sir, open the door for us.’ “But he will answer, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ 26 “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ 27 “But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ 28 “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. 29 People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30 Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

There were at least 6 million Jews who died in World War Two by the hands of the Europeans, three million alone in Poland. The PLO/Hamas denies this and even calls Zionism a creation of the Europeans! who were effectively going to kill all the Jews if World War II haven’t ended. The Jews died because of their allegiance to the God of Israel, founded on the Freedom of Zion, the freedom and hope that Jerusalem will have peace and prevail against her European and Arab captors and occupiers. God allowed this because the time of the budding of the fig tree has not come. It came a few years later in 1948, in the creation of Israel. The Arabs attacked the very next day in a war of genocide, but were not able to harm the Jews whom Hitler, a type of anti-Christ had hitherto almost annihilated.

We are reaching to the stage where some who claim to be Christians, becomes the anti-Christ, the anti-Jesus and called Israel the foreign occupier of their ancient homeland, and even called Jesus a Palestinian. The term Palestinian came from Palestina whom the Romans called Judea after their killed over a million Jews and exiled them all around the world so that they will never come back to Jerusalem. Such is the demonic hatred of the Romans. The Episcopal church that supports the Business, Divestment, Sanctions  are actually aligning themselves with the Romans. That is why when Jesus comes back to Jerusalem for His people, many who called themselves Christians and even attends bible college, God Himself will deny ever knowing them, even though they may even call themselves “Jesus People”.

One characteristic of many such Mainline Christians are that they do not know the times. For them, they worship the journey, faith itself rather than the destination. Many faiths called Jesus, a way to God. But Jesus calls Himself, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life”. Jesus is the End Point, the Alpha and the Omega. Jesus Christ points back to Himself as God.

Many mainline Christians worship love, even social justice which is good, but the road to eternity is in a person and not in good works in abiding in the law even the love commandments. Therefore when Jesus said to them, “Away from me, you evil Doers!”, he is talking about the many who had distorted the way of the Cross, claiming that that are many ways that lead to God, and that God loves everyone. Their evil doing is trying to replace the centrality of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with the buzz word of love and doing good. They are not progressing but replacing the truth with a lie in a replacement theology.

Even when the door to heaven is closing, and they do know the bible and the Way to Heaven, they could not see it nor acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ, for their theological construction has blinded them. When it is too late, they will then seek Jesus Christ, and called Him “Lord”, knocking at the door, but it would be far too late. They have the bible, but put a thick cover over it to reflect not Christ, but the mirror of their own humanism. Therefore, they should have been first but now becomes last. Just as they now lead the ban against Israel whom they criticized as occupiers of their own lands, the Holy Spirit is moving to blind them so that they do not see God lest they repent and turned from their ways.

Many see the End Times as wars and calamities, a future battle. However, much of that has already happened in World War II which ushered in the creation of Israel, and with 70 years of massive battles between the Arab nations and Israel trying to push Israel into the ocean, there was also the period of 50 years of Grace where the mainline Christians should have seen that God was with the Jews in returning them to Jerusalem. But God has blinded their eyes.

There were and will be warfare and great battles in Israel and the Middle East (in Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Iran), just as the there were battles in the heavenlies preparing for the coming of the Kingdom of God. As the door closes, the Four Horseman goes out, and you see all the enemies surrounding Israel hardening their hearts, their armies being destroyed. God is behind this move where there is a hardening of minds and confusion leading to self destruction.

In Christianity, for the last 70 years, the mainline liberal Christians begun their long decline coinciding with the greatest revival in Charismatic Evangelicals. There was only a few small gospel houses in Singapore in the 50s and 60s, and even then rejected by the then liberal National Council of Churches. Once the Israel become a State, and Jerusalem returned in 1967, there was a mighty wind of the Holy Spirit coming to Asia and Singapore out of Zion in the last 50 years of God’s grace. But the liberals whether in Singapore or the United States didn’t see none of it, as their numbers decline. The arrogance and audacity was their liberal bishop Spong who asserted that the evangelicals will perish unless they change and follow liberalism.

The door is closing. God is hardening the hearts of many so that they could not see Jesus as Lord and Saviour, so that their angst will rise up against Israel. That was why the Arabs attacked Israel in 1948 rather than agree to give even a small plot to Israel and we would have achieved the two state solution but without Jerusalem. They could have just accepted the two state solution in 1948, but went on a war path for the next 70 years. Jesus Christ is coming back, and He is hardening the hearts and minds of the nations and many in the mainline Christianity so that they will not see God lest they know that the end is coming and repent!.

The trumpet is blowing out of Zion, the trumpet of the shofar, sound the trumpet from the Lamb that was slain. Sound the trumpet in Zion. The powers against Israel are coming, whether the surrounding Arab nations, or the liberal mainline churches, or the United Nations, each God has put in their hearts and minds to rise up against Israel, so that God can bring them down! God has hardened their hearts just as United nations voted almost entirely against US declaring Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel. When their sins against Israel is counted against them and in the fullness of time, the heavens shuts and judgement has come and is coming upon the nations.

Both the judgement of God, and Holy Spirit Revival amongst the nations are intertwined for the last 70 years. As the door is moving closer and closer to being shut, the next wave of the Holy Spirit revival, the last latter rain, is coming and it will last for 50 years, at the same time, the ancient Kingdoms of Rome, Persia, Magog, Babylon, the Ottomans will all come tumbling down for their wickedness against Israel. And they wouldn’t know what will hit them! for the spirit of strive, calamity, divisions is moving through the nations!

Rev 22: 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

The tree of Life at the Garden of Eden is Jesus Christ.

The door started to close more than 120 years ago, in 1897, at the First Zionist Conference where the Hope of return was given flame. Seventy years later, in 1967, in a the fullness of time, Jerusalem went back to the Jews. The creation of the State of Israel in 1948, 50 years after the conference, was in fullness of God’s grace.  And the Arabs had 70 years from 1948, or a fullness of time to share the land even though the Romans, and Ottomans had stolen from ancient Israel, failing which the door has now closed and the march towards the entire land fully belonging to the Jews is inevitable. Grace was given but they wanted justice and so the law was given and all the land went back to the Jews.

The door to the ownership of Jerusalem has now closed in the very fullness of time, a period of 120 years consisting of a period of grace for 50 years, and a full period of time of 70 years from the Zionist Congress in 1897. Once the gate to Zion is shut, the nations of the world and the United Nations who has come against Israel will be in great strive leading to the return including Golan, Bethlehem, Hebron, Shilo, Jericho, Tekoa and Shechem to Israel, and the rebuilding of the Temple in the next 35 years (3.5 days). There will be gashing of teeth.

After the return, there will be a period of Grace which is the final and the latter rain of the Holy Spirit before the  coming back of Jesus Christ which can occur anytime thereafter. No one knows the hour, but the season is for all to see. There can only be peace in Jerusalem when all those who had conquered her are vanquished.
