The Compassion of Jesus to the Gay Churches

Mat 9:11 When the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, “Why is your Teacher eating with the tax collectors and sinners?” 12 But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.13″But go and learn what this means: ‘I DESIRE COMPASSION, AND NOT SACRIFICE,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Luke 5: 30 The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”31 And Jesus answered and said to them, “It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick. 32″I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”

When I first joined a charismatic evangelical Christian youth group of a church at university some years back, it had 50 members. Four years later, by the time I graduated, it had more than 300 members. We had passion for the Lost. preached the Gospel Good News, and many were saved. But more than that, they were good people of passion and zeal for God, and love for Jesus. Continue reading

Christmas 2014

Is 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

The coming of Christ, two thousand years ago and his corresponding death three decades later changed history, his birth marks the junction of time and dates AD and BCE. It was not a story or a legend but actual events with deep meanings and had its beginnings from the start of time itself.

There are those who fear the slippery slope of Gay marriages invoking the coming of Jesus Christ leading to the destruction of the whole earth! But the only sin is unbelief in Jesus Christ. For Christ has come and is coming back again. Continue reading

An inclusive invite to the wedding feast of the Lamb

Luke 14:23 The master said to the servant, ‘Go to the highways and back alleys and urge people to come in so that my house will be filled.

Matt 22:8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. 9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’

One of the greatest call of the Bible is the open invitation. It is an inclusive invitation regardless of whether gay or straight, rich or poor, whatever pagan faiths we believed in.

The Gospel message of salvation in Christ alone has gone out to the ends of the earth. They are all invited to a wedding feast. Continue reading

Not forgetting the End Times

Mat 24: 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Mat 24: 15 “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Mat 24: 32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Mat 24:34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Mat 24: 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.

On 26 June 2013, the Charisma Magazine in the US reported that “Satan’s End-Time Strategy to Outlaw Traditional Marriage in Full Swing” in an attempt to stop gay marriage. The term “End Time” here refers to the Bible End times and the same illogical messages being reported in SIngapore. However, this is not blibical. We fear the end times, hence we blame gays for it. The wise virgins saved by Grace

Mat 25:1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep. 6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’ 7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. 8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ 9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ 11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ 12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

Matthew 25 concerning the ten virgins is a provocative picture of a fallen church, waiting too long for Jesus, forgetting her first love and the power of the Holy Spirit. It also reflects together with the other parables in Matthew 25, the make-up of the church – with sheeps/goats, virgins with oil/no oil, a very wide and inclusive makeup until the day when Jesus comes back when it all does not matter, for the gate is Jesus and not our own righteousness. Goat or Sheep

Mat: 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

Mat 25: 41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,

In a Western world where many have an association with Christianity, Matthew 25 contains three parables of the same story about those who identify themselves as of faith, religious and spiritual but at the end finding themselves rejected when Jesus comes back.

At this present age, the Goat and the Sheep are actually intertwined and could not be easily separated eg some preachers preach the Gospel good news and extended mightly the kingdom of God yet have lamb chops every day. They stole tens of millions from the sheep for their own glory and fame, yet few in the body of Christ would criticse them. Continue reading

Gay Marriage – the Walls of Jericho have fallen

On 06 Oct 14, the decision or a lack of decision by the Supreme Court in the US not to hear the appeals against the gay marriage ban has opened up a flood of gay marriage in the US.

The fall in the walls of Jericho, the last stronghold of appeal for the anti-gay opponents was unexpected.

Within one day gay marriage was legal in an additional 5 states from 19 states with the rulling or the lack of ruling possibly extending gay marriage to 35 states within a month out of a total of 50 states. Continue reading

Jesus Said “My words will by no means pass away. “

Hosea 6:2 After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

2 Peter 8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Luke 21:24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Since the start of the 20th century, from the 1900s, many learned Christians have scoffed at Gospel redemption, the rapture, and Jesus’ return to redeem His people, the Jewish nation, as if they are progressing or modern in their thinking.

The Charismatic evangelical movement of Azusa St in 1904 brought a movement by Christians to support the Jews back to their homeland. Our fates are intertwined. In Jesus Christ, the blessings of Abraham too became our heritage.

Concerning His return to earth, in Luke 21:24, Jesus prophesied that Jesuralem would fall (which it did in AD70), and that the Jews will be driven from their ancestoral land and be persecuted until the time of the Gentiles was over.

In Hosea 6:2, concerning the duration of exile, we know that it will be for two days. In 2 Pet 8, we are reminded that Jesus is coming back in due time, and that a day is a thousand years. Hence, the Jews will be exiled for two thousand years from the destruction of the temple, to the rebuilding of the new temple to usher in the return of Jesus Christ. ie The days of the Gentile would be over in AD2070.

In the mean time, as prophesied by Jesus, Jesusalem was trampled by the Gentiles, which they did with the temple being torn down, and replaced by pagan temples of people of faith worshiping other gods:-

  • AD70 – Titus destroyed the Jewish Temple
  • AD135 – Hadrian build the temple of Juniper on the site and killed 600,000 Jews. The temple has a haxagonal forecourt.
  • AD325 – Constantine destroyed the temple of Juniper. Built an Octagonal church. But the statue of Hadrian remained.
  • AD622 – Invaded by the Arabs, where all the churches were destroyed from Alexandria to Antioch, and in AD 685 built the Dome of the Rock on the Hexagonal forecourt.

Although there have been many wars, earth quakes and famines, and many anti-christ have come murdering masses of humanity and raising up an army against the remant Jews as Hitler did in WWII (1939 to 1945), they did so because the time of the Gentiles is coming to an end. The first and second sounding of the shofar have been proclaimed.

Hitler, an anti-christ tried to destroy the Jewish people and gays because two events must first take place, the return of the Jews to Israel, and the preaching of the Gospel to all peoples and all tribes. The last people group is the rainbow nation.

  • AD 1917 – Balfour declaration – Return of Jews to Palestine.
  • AD 1939 to 1945 – Six million Jews and 200,000 gays were targeted and killed by Hitler.
  • AD 1948 – Creation of Israel
  • AD 1967 – For the first time since AD70 Jews controlled Jerusalem.

In Luke 20: 29, the fig tree represents Israel. The first buds and sign of life came out in 1948, and in 1967, the whole tree begins to bud.

Luke 20:29 “Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

The bible definition of the lifespan is 120 years. Therefore, when Jesus said that this generation will by no means pass away until Jesus returns to Jerusalem, it meant that the return of Jesus Christ will take place no more than 120 years from 1948 ie AD 1948 + 120 years = 2068. When one sees Israel budding again, the coming of the Lord will be within 120 years ie 2068.

In a surprising co-incidence, based on the number of years of the Gentiles of two years or 2000 years after the fall of Jerusalem, ie AD70 + 2000 years = 2070. Hence, there is two confirming witness from the bible that the Day of the Lord is sure and coming and the appointed season between 2068 to 2070.

Jesus is the Lord of Time. He is not slow in coming back as some would say. We are in an age of grace, where men have space and freedom to chose between good and evil, to chose between grace and the law, to chose to receive Jesus or chose another faith. But soon the door is closing, the gate to heaven is closing. We are at the last 60 years, the last hour.

The end of time is coming for the Gentiles in AD2068/2070. The doors are being unlocked. Events are happening faster than before of gay rights, of Christian revivals in India and China. The end time Gospel revival is coming. The latter rain is coming on earth. The new dawn, the new morning is coming. The Kingdom of God in Christ Jesus is coming and our kindoms of earth no more.

Hosea 6:3 Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Amos Rivers of Justice and Righteousness

Amos prophesied around 750 BC during the reign of King Uzziah of Judah and Jeroboam II of Israel. The sins of Israel and Judah were so great that the entire nation ended in exile because they didn’t repented. The sins were one of rejecting God and worshipping other gods. The outcome was injustice and lack of righteousness. There is similarity in Singapore where Gays are oppressed by Christians, and there is injustice and inequality for the poor and the needy. The mega church rancher

Pastor Kong’s sermon over five days in court deserved an Oscar award. He blamed everyone even the Commercial Affairs Department for Sun Ho’s album failure. The audacity was amazing when it was clear that Sun Ho was not made out to be a pop star and much of her success was apparently bought with church funds.

Love Singapore and the National Council of Churches seems awfully quiet. Where are the moral defenders of Singapore wearing white? China Wine was pure heterosexual exuberance. Continue reading
