1 John 5:12-13 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God; so that you may know that you have eternal life.

One of the most depressive places are gay churches when we are full of condemnation from the mainstream churches yet unable to release that condemnation because of our theology which binds us. Droves of people are leaving liberal churches who blames bible interpretation as being literal and absolute as the cause rather than a lack of hope. There is no hope, when there is no Cross of Calvary, when it is our love for God and our love for others, because we can never negate the judgement of God for our sins.

We are Free not when we realized that everyone are equal, but when we realized that everyone are sinners needing to believe and accept God’s grace in Jesus Christ. The people wearing white against Pink Dot are probably far greater sinners than gays. Their own sins are put on gays, the sin of divorce and abortions, and the rampant adultery and abuses.

God’s judgement on sin is so severe even destroying the entire earth and many nations that some liberals say that we cannot take the bible literally, or that there is no absolute. This is unbelief and not faith nor hope. But one day, they will face judgement and without Christ, they are hell bound. Just because God loves us, does not negate the judgement for sin per say. He had to sent His Son to die for us, and we to believe and accept that Jesus is our Messiah for our own sins.

The mainline churches condemns gays for sins out of self righteousness, because they are sinners, and need to put their sins on the hapless gay gentle lambs. They do not believe that Christ is their righteousness. Whilst, most gay churches talks only about love but not sin because they do not understand that God is both love and a just God. The punishment of sin is death, and if God is a just God, there is a barrier to God’s love. When we only stand on love but negate the Cross, we will live in condemnation and not a sense of God’s love for us as child of God.

When we do not believe Jesus as Lord and Saviour, we start making educated excuses such as there is no absolutes, or that we should not interpret the bible literally, or that faith involves uncertainty. It is actually our unbelief. The Anti-Christ role is to diminishes the standing the Jesus finished works at the Cross, and many churches have the spirit of anti-Christ. We claim to be wise, learned theologically and biblical, but our hearts does not believe that He is God.

We might consider ourselves learned but in 1 Cor 3.1, Paul called the Corinthians infants in Christ because of divisions coming from a lack of understanding of 1 Cor 3:11, that there is only one true foundation that Jesus Christ is the unmovable and unchanging rock of our salvation.

Therefore in 1 Cor 13:11, when Paul was talking about speaking as a child in the faith, it was not that Paul was progressive, but the Corinthians misunderstood tongues and prophecies, because tongues is a love language to God, and prophecies speaks of the work of love God will be performing. And the foundation of it all in 1 Cor 13:13, is having that faith in the Hope of eternity because of Jesus Christ whilst abiding in the substance of the love of God in our lives.

We know in part, that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, but not the fullness because we are not in heaven yet, and therefore comes the spiritual language of speaking in tongues, and prophecies by the Holy Spirit to discern the will of God to the church. To justify as somehow Paul discarding the rock of salvation is the work of the anti-christ.

When Paul spoke to the Corinthians, He emphasized the central absolute foundation of Jesus finished work at the Cross to save and bear the curse for our sins, and that the five fold ministry is given to proclaim the Gospel Good news, together with the spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues, word of wisdom, and word of knowledge. Until we reach heaven one day, when we see Christ, we will then have the fullness of knowledge not that we are uncertain of what is already known, and the truth that is revealed.

To claim that we know only partial, and there is some special truths apart from the revelation of Christ as Lord and Savior, the way and the truth to God, is deceptive because they want to negate the Cross of Calvary. It is unbelief coated in nice words. We can’t live our relationship based our love, but a deep sense of God’s love for us, not that love can itself negate the judgement for our sins, but that Jesus bore the curse of our sins.

If Christ is willing to bear all the judicial judgement of God on our behalf at the Cross, it is then all of Grace, nothing of us, nothing of our love, nothing our our works. And Christ is able to do so, because He is God, absolutely righteous and pure, far beyond the Pharisees and left wing christians who call Him a teacher.

We come back to many Gay churches whose focus is on a kind of Churchianity and a general believing and faith rather than believing that Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah who took our curse on the Cross. Let us truly believe in the finished work of the Cross that we may have Hope again, both for eternity and here on earth that God is a good God and that His love endures forever more in each of our lives.
