Loving God is Loving Jesus

A Christian missionary John Allen Chau was killed in the remote Indian Islands by a native tribe that hitherto has been hostile to the outside world. His family and the Christian missionary groups that he have been associated with have affirmed that they held no animosity and have fully forgiven the tribe. This act of love so angst the Christian left that they had to dig up fringe Christian groups calling for justice and even clergy spinning this to say that this is how genocide starts, They tried to cynically spin the narrative because they wanted to detract the focus from Chau who was so loving and forgiving with the message that Jesus loves the tribe and he wanted to break what he said as “Satan’s last strong hold”.

The left wanted to spin the narrative to be about the tribe, when it is all about John Allen Chau, his love for God and His love for the Great Commission to the Lost, for Jesus loves me this I know. It was a foolish and illegal endeavour, but I believe God looks into his heart and His love for the saving Gospel of God’s grace through Jesus Christ so thoroughly rejected by the Christian Left. This is what faith is about, stepping out, driven by his love for God.

The Wedding Banquet, the story of the church

Blessed Assurance

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
O what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood

Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love

The church of Jesus Christ has become so law minded fighting even in Taiwan to ban gays from marriage and equality. This is sad, when our Great commission is the Gospel of Salvation not of the law, but the name of Jesus so precious in a country that worship other gods in the majority. In the bible, only the Ten Commandments is in the Ark of the Covenant covered by the mercy seat of Jesus Christ. The Law, the Torah, is placed just outside because there is no anointing and deliverance in the Law. When we preached the Torah, it is not Christ but ourselves. Are we better and more righteous than gays? Is Christ glorified?

True Love is Jesus not the law

As the “Love Singapore” and “True Love Is” groups pushed their anti-gay agenda even more aggressively now targeting gay youths, the irony is that gay youths are the most free from the closets of religion that binds many to religious laws. The Christian Right is scared because their hypocrisy and fake religiosity could be seen easily and the world has become a much smaller place where young people could connect and are not easily fooled knowing that they are not alone.

Gays are not coming out as they used to because there is no need to come out just as straight people don’t come out to realise that they are straight. Once the battle is lost, the counter argument is also true, the anti-gay aggenda of the church is immoral, and has caused the lost of many lives.

What is an abomination? The Christian Right would point to Lev 18:22 that one must not lie with a man as with a woman as an abomination, but the religious landscape and motivation were because the people were having sex orgies with the temple priests to join themselves to Satan in Baal worship where only men participated in the religious life. They were not gays. Neither were gays the modern day abomination whom the church is trying to blame, but the church herself where Babylon, the great harlot is in Rome, and the abomination of the church joining with the power of this world is happening daily.

Let those of the Spirit of God understand and see the truth. This is the abomination of the abomination, not gay sex due to same sex orientation but unnatural sex of joining oneself to demonic powers. Gays are scapegoat to be blamed for the real abomination. The universal church in Rome never stopped worshipping the mother pagan goddess of ancient Rome, just that you don’t see it even though all the “scared” symbols are obvious. They are masked by a form of religion. They have power but not from the God of Israel but the morning star. Continue reading

A better Spirit

Luke 9:51 Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem, 52 and sent messengers before His face. And as they went, they entered a village of the Samaritans, to prepare for Him. 53 But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. 54 And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?” 55 But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. 56 For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.

Mark 6:11 And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

The 377a debate is coming back to Singapore after the Indian Supreme Court effectively scraped it and called it totally unjustified and against basic human rights. The just doesn’t operate based on majority opinion. If so, countries which have few evangelical christians may called upon the banning of evangelism due to strongly felt views contrary to basic religious freedoms.

I am reminded in the bible that the disciples really despised the Samaritans and Jesus bought us an example of James and John wanted to call down fire from heaven to destroy the Samaritan village. Why the incredible angst? because the Samaritans also worshiped the God of Israel albeit on a different mountain. Why Jesus showed us the example rather than say a pagan village worshiping pagan gods? for Jesus himself called the Canaanite woman, a temple dog!

Church struggles to keep gays in the closet

Amos 5:23 Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 But let justice roll on like a river,
    righteousness like a never-failing stream!

25 “Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings
forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel?
26 You have lifted up the shrine of your king,
the pedestal of your idols,
the star of your god[b]
which you made for yourselves.

One of the favorite verses of my liberal friends is Amos 5:24. However, the opposite of justice is not injustice, it is not satisfied by appearances of religion with all its sounds and cymbals worshipping God.  Because God sees our heart. When the formal restraints are not there like the children of Israel, we will worship idols if we are not sanctified with Christ. And these idols are powerful spiritual deities represented ultimately by the fallen star. And as one worship Molech and Baal, whom the Jews worshipped in the desert, there was great evil  – the sacrifice of babies. The men even joined themselves to the priest in anal sex.  So sex is related to harvest and blood sacrifices, and now 3,000 years later, there is injustice towards gays because the straight community is hiding the sins of their heart. The church says that gays are struggling from same-sex attraction but isn’t the reality a struggle for opposite sex attraction with widespread adultery and more than 10,000 abortions every year.

Justice will not flow down until we examine of hearts. For outwardly we may worship God but inwardly is our heart and conscience clear towards Jesus or are gays just the scapegoat to cleanse the straight community. Justice will ultimately flows down from the mountain top, and when it reaches down, it will reveal our hearts. For the treatment of the weak is a reflection in our hearts.

God will use the LGBT community as a Wash Pot

At Pink Dot, what scared the Christian anti-gay activist was an unsaid declaration by each in the gay community – “I am who I am”. I am ready to make my voice known and be heard.

It was claimed by the Christian anti-gay activist in Singapore that “there is diversity of experiences in the LGBT community – not everyone believes in the same thing or behaves in the same way”. They had conveniently defined gays into Activist, Moderates, Seekers, and Overcomers based on their anti-gay agenda. This is of course a lie, for the vast majority if not almost all of the GLBT Community knows what is like to be denied basic rights, denied the opportunity to love, with the Church leading the charge to throw the key away and put them in the closet.

It is true, not everyone believes the same, but 99% do have a strong angst against the Christian Right in Singapore, because deep in-justice is not a matter of opinion but a practical reality where gays are denied to right to be, the right to love, and share life long relationships with whom they loved. To define gays simply based on same-sex attraction and attendance of Pink Dot is to deny gays of individual sacred worth and dignity. The remaining 0.9% are gay activist who will call out the church for coming against love, God’s love. The church can only deceive 0.1% but not for long.

Go and Sin no more

Sex joins two together eg in marriage, and in the bible it became a religious abomination when men had anal sex with the temple priest of Baal so that through this act, they can receive the demonic spirit. This is not the same sex orientation as we know it today. God destroyed Sodom including all the women and children (they were obviously not gay) because once the men were involved in this deep pagan occult, the spirit comes into all their families. They become one with Satan. They acted as one when the angels visited Lot. When Lot offered his daughters, it is a reminder of the days of Noah when the seed of mankind was corrupted. So let the truth sets you free that whether gay or straight is not the issue, but your allegiance to the God of Israel.

Grace, mercy, and peace

“to Titus, a true son in our common faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ Our Saviour” Titus 1:4

“Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God’s elect and acknowledgement of the truth which accords with godliness, in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time begin” Titus 1:1,2

If our lives were to be bonded, what is our message or manifesto? the conservative may proclaim a Trump like support whilst the liberals will rage on about Clinton. But the manifesto for Paul is that he is a servant, a bonded servant for life ie an eternal slave to the cause, and this cause is to be an Apostle, to preach the Word of God of salvation, of eternal life in Jesus Christ. Paul was upward looking, whilst the modern the church is downward looking, condemning the sins of those outside the church as if these sins are far greater than those within the walls of the church.

True love is Grace

Gen 28:10-19

There was quite a furore of a 3:16-church  located at various locations – auditorium 115 Eunos Avenue 3 #02-04 Singapore 409839, 178 Payar Lebar Road 409030, 19 Toronto Road Singapore 574440 with their gay conversion ministry. The description by many liberal Christians of how disgusting this is and deceptive using the rainbow imagery. But really, the church is kicking against a rock which will not move and will hurt them. But, they too are part of the Body of Christ, a body which by enlarge has rejected the gay community. This is no “safe” space but a very dangerous manipulative endeavour who cares not for the people but just to maintain their theological construction irrespective of harm.

After the forum on homosexuality and Christianity in Amara Hotel 2007 debated amongst the esteemed pastors even from Trinity, i saw young gay guys holding hands in the quiet alleyway outside the Amara hotel as i was leaving. God was talking! And today after reading the reports from the gay activist against the 3:16 church, i again saw young gay guys holding hands in the busy public places in Somerset. God is again speaking. There is no turning back…

Turmoil in Gay christiantiny

It is just over 3 years that Gay marriage was legalised in the US, on 26 June 2015. And coincidentally, it was 15 years ago, on 26 June, 2003, that same-sex activities was legal. The major Gay denomination in the states, the MCC, has been a great blessing to the Gay Christians but the battle now starts to find meaning and purpose for existence in an increasingly left-wing mainline Christianity. Will the Rainbow bring something different to the highly polarised state of Christianity.

The recent fracas in Other Sheep (an outreach for Gay Christians) whereby the MCC members had muscled in and replaced the Executive Director just because he is a Trump supporter is reflective of the ever-increasing liberal radicalization of Gay Christianity. The MCC had started being more inclusive with their founder Troy Perry even having Pentecostal roots. But MCC churches are now more akin to the liberal alt left of Christianity after decades battling with the Christian Right. They had become as dogmatic and narrow as those they had opposed. The outrage at the Other Sheep’s former Executive Director’s manifesto was almost universally felt by many liberal Gay clergy. Has the Gay church lost its mission in a changing world? to be inclusive? instead of an exclusive hyper liberal club.
